The authors herein present a female patient who developed acute-onset vertical diplopia, proptosis, mild retro-orbital pain, and restriction of upgaze immediately after labor. Neuroimaging revealed a subperiosteal hematoma along the right orbital roof. We report a case of subperiosteal orbital hemorrhage secondary to sinusitis resulting in visual loss. A 74-year-old male presented to a rural emergency department with a less than 12-hour history of right-sided peri-orbital swelling and subsequent loss of vision in the eye.
